Audience: All guest posts should be tailored towards the equestrian lifestyle.

Topic: Please include topics of your writing.

Length & Content: Articles should be written in a professional manner with correct spelling and grammar. Length is subjective and determined toward topic but should adhere to a blog post.

Author: The author of the post should be a rider, trainer, or involved in the equine world themselves or otherwise connected to the equine industry. Any experience level is welcome.

Purpose: The main focus of the article should be to inform or inspire my audience. Any articles stuffed with self-promotion will not be considered, though the occasional link for reference to a helpful article or resource is acceptable.

Formatting: Please format as a typical article submission. If article is requested, please send in Microsoft Word in Times New Roman font, and size 12. Formatting to the website will be done by Stylo Clothing.

Availability: Articles should be unique to Stylo Clothing. They should not be published elsewhere online, though you’re welcome to tease the article on your own site or in your newsletter with a link to the full copy on the Velvet Rider blog.

Self-Promo: If article submission is requested, please include a brief bio with your article that contains a headshot and links to your website, social media, and/or available books, services, or resources. These will be included at Stylo Clothing’s discretion.

You represent and warrant that this is your original work and not plagiarized and contains no objectionable or libelous material. You indemnify and hold Stylo Clothing, and Jennifer Landers personally harmless against any suits, claims, causes of action, expenses or costs of any kind including legal fees arising out of the content of the original work.

I maintain the right to lightly edit your article (mostly for spelling, grammar, and formatting) and to choose a post title that I feel best fits my blog and audience that may be different from your chosen title.

I maintain the right to reject submissions or to request that you revise & resubmit to better tailor the article to my audience. (You maintain the right to refuse).

Depending on the rate of submissions, your article may not be published immediately if accepted. Guest posts will be published on an as availability allows. I will provide a potential publish date when we confirm your submission.
